New Patient Chiropractic Exam & Consult

Pregnancy and Pediatric Chiropractic
Chiropractic care during pregnancy can allow for the pelvis of the mother to be optimally positioned so that it enables uninhibited growth of her baby. This in turn provides relief of undue stress on joints and muscles due to improper alignment during the transitional growth period of pregnancy.
As children develop they will start to reach exciting milestones of rolling over, sitting up, crawling, and walking. These are all wonderful things but they can put strain on the developing spine of a newborn.
As your child grows and begins to participate in sports it is common to see minor injuries that can usually be addressed with a simple adjustment to allow for the body to heal on its own.

Chiropractic Adjustment
Dr. Puente has taken additional training to become Advanced Certified in the technique of Activator. This technique allows the patient to experience a more gentle adjustment with the use of an Activator tool. This technique is utilized when requested by a patient or for TMJ adjustments.In addition to the above mentioned techniques, Dr. Emily has also studied other methods of adjusting which include but are not limited to: craniosacral work, SOT, Epley’s maneuver for vertigo, extremity work, taping for sports injuries, post isometric relaxation for muscle release, cranial work including work with the TMJ.

Animal Chiropractic
Chiropractic care is an option that is provided to our animal patients as well. We commonly see animals with presenting complaints but many patients bring in their animals for care to keep them well.

Cold Laser Therapy
Cold Laser or Low Level Light Therapy is a wonderful compliment to chiropractic care to help alleviate pain/discomfort felt from injuries and expedite the natural healing processes of the body. Cold laser therapy is utilized in cases where it would be beneficial with package deals available for patients who require extended use of the laser for therapy.

Craniosacral / Myofascial
30 minute hands on Craniosacral/Myofascial release session to remove facial and muscular tension as well as address body misalignments and stressors of the body.
